Jesus drew diverse people together by creating spaces where all could belong. Invitational vulnerability is about sharing our authentic selves in a way that invites others to do the same. Building faith communities that grow in voluntary interdependence will model that communal resilience is possible. There are four areas of practice that enable this: eating together, playfulness, serving together and communal prayer.
